Miss Luna and the Kindness Plane is a picture book I wrote about kindness, courage and the small acts that lift people up. It was published independently in November 2025 and is available on Amazon.
Overview
An original children's picture book that I wrote, illustrated and designed from concept to publication.
The Challenge
Bringing a story about kindness to life with warm, expressive illustrations and a polished, print-ready book, working independently from the first draft to the final printed copy.
The Idea
A young pilot named Miss Luna and her Kindness Plane, showing children that small acts of kindness can travel a long way.
My Process
Gathered visual references and built mood boards on Pinterest to define the characters, colour palette and overall look of the book.
Developed the illustrations using AI-assisted image generation in ChatGPT, guiding each scene through detailed creative direction and refining the results for a consistent style.
Designed the cover, page layouts and typography in Canva, then prepared the files for print and publication.
What I Created
Written story, illustrations, cover design, interior page layouts and print-ready files.
